Sam Pursey is an American singer/songwriter based in Massachusetts. Sam first picked up a guitar at the age of 12, learning with a $100 Silverstone electric guitar & amp starter pack. From there, he began exploring the world of songwriting, and Sam Pursey Music was born.

Sam released his first EP, “Daydreaming,” in 2015, and it is now available on all streaming platforms. The songs on Daydreaming were written in Sam’s high school and college years. After the release of Daydreaming, Sam formed the Sam Pursey Trio with lifelong friends Patrick Brown (drums) and Mike Beliveau (bass) for the purpose of playing full band live shows. Sam spent several years performing solo and Trio gigs around Western and Central MA, and is now releasing new original music. The guitar remains his main instrument for both writing and performing, though several new releases planned for 2020 and 2021 feature new sounds for his music, involving synths and other electronic instruments.
